Stewart B McCulloch California Pottery Gold Bird and Flower Dish or  Dresser Tray.    Rare !      I think  that this a dogwood flower.  Anyway it  is a very pretty piece.      The flower is 5" across and the bird stands 2.5" high.    The condition is good.  The is some of the gold leaf wear on the edges and on the bird .   The edges have roughness but there are not chips.   There is a manufacturer flaw under the rim as shown in the picture.
