Studebaker Paul And Steve Lukavich Ad 1944 This is a March 4, 1944 advertisement. This is a nice color ad from Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana. Ad shows picture of father and son team of Studebaker. Reads, 21 years ago this January a mechanic named Paul Lukavich signed his first pay voucher as a Studebaker employee. His son, Steve, now in Marine Corp was two years old. In Sept 1940 keeping with custom thats generations old in South Bend, the Lukaviches became a Studebaker father and son team. Not long after that the two moved from the automotive shops to the great modern aircraft engine plant where huge quantities of Studebaker built Wright Cyclones that power the Boeing Flying Forteress are being produced. A year ago this month, Steve joined the Marines. Both are pictured in this ad. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
