This particular piece is a really neat antique traveling inkwell. It is made of brass and then is covered in red leather. On the top of the lid it is stamped INK and on the front is a hidden button that opens the lid. Under the main lid is a second lid with some great engraving details. That lid protects the actual ink bottle. The ink bottle insert is original and included. It measures about 1½" square and is in great condition – leather is very clean!.
