Audels Carpenters and Builders Guide 4 Vol 1923

This is a very nice, clean set of Audels Carpenters and Builders Guides with a complete set of 4 volumes all copyright in 1923, all are first editions, all printed and bound the same as in 1923, all the same text, size and cover design. One of my favorite reference book sets for information on building and carpentry techniques from the 1920's. The 1st volume is very good for information on tools of that days and how to care for them. Each book is 5" x 6.7" has a black leather like pressed cloth semi soft boards, gold gilt spine lettering; pages are tipped in gold gilt on all three sides. All are in good++ to very good condition.  Number 3 is in good++ condition, covers are clean, spines are tight and straight but there are minor issues, the inside blank papers have some small stains and some darkening of paper tone.  Volume 3 shows the most wear and it looks pretty good overall. Volume 1 has some minor bumped page corners on the top outside corner.   Very nice! As you can see in the pictures there is very little exterior wear on this set, but some minor edge wear on the cover noted. Pages on all are clean; no tears, scribbling, On all books, some minor age toning on the pages. Good tight bindings.  Overall is very good condition on the set, clean, not musty. A nice set of books covering tools, steel square, cutting tools, saw sharpening, nails, screws, joinery, furniture, math, drawings, estimating, house and roof framing, layout, foundations, doors, windows, stair building, mill-work, painting, etc. Lots of good information.
