Audels Masons & Builders Guide 4 Vol 1927

This is a rare red leather like material covered 4 volume complete set of Audels Mason & Builders guide books, copyright by Theo. Audel & Co, New York, 1924, reprinted in 1927. Overall good condition, red semi-hard boards, clean, with some minor bumped corners, and vol. 1 & 4 has some of the red cloth worn off the spine. The gold gilt lettering on spines is good except for a little wear on vol. 1 & 4, no spine cracks, fraying, but some darkening on the red covers in places, the gold page edges are in great shape, only minor wear. There is a small puncture like mark on the front cover of the vol. 1 and the pucture made a even slighter mark for the first 5 pages or so.  But the front cover still looks pretty good on the outside. Pages are clean, on all volumes, no stains, tears, or missing pages, but some light darkening of the paper throughout, the binding is tight. A nice set of books covering brick laying, foundations, plaster work, design, concrete, and more. A must have set for your "How to"  library collection.
Each book is 5" x 6.75" and has over 250 pages of text, and many illustrations in each volume.
