Auger Bit 2 inch Diameter Beam Drill Machine

This is a nice clean 2" diameter wood auger bit with a 1/2" diameter shank size.  It is in good condition with a good double sharp cutting edges and one inside spur cutting edge that controls the diameter size.  It appears to be the Snell pattern style drill, but is not marked.  The end screw is sharp at the end, and in good usable condition.  The metal is clean with some staining or darkening of the finish, and some clear lacquer has been lightly applied to the bare metal.  A hard to find drill, for a turn of the century post and beam drilling machine.
