Signed in white ink on the print. A luscious print with strong presence. From the estate of Carroll Alexander, a theatre scenic designer who was associated with the Palo Alto Community Theatre for over 25 years starting in 1934. He trained with such eminent designers as Norman Bel Geddes, Robert Edmond Jones and Lee Simonson. Alexander previously designed stage shows for Fanchon & Marco, the largest professional dance school in Hollywood in the 1920s and 30s and prominent producers of stage shows where Joan Crawford, Dorothy LaMour, Judy Garland, Doris Day, Bing Crosby and many others started their careers.

Condition: Good; some minor creases in surface; one major dog ear at upper left consisting of two creases; pin holes in the corners.
