I dont think I have ever seen settings like this in any of the jewelry I have been thru. The large purple rhinestones are encased in bezels that have prongs on either side in the form of little loops. The whole brooch is large ( 2 ½" x 1 ½" ) and is really thick so it stands up off the shirt or dress. Unsigned and in great shape.
