Offering this beautiful larger size fold out valentine, circa 1910-20's; decorative cutout flap with the words To My Valentine, folds out to show a red honeycomb rosette, and three layer decoration - first layer is a colorful bouquet of carnations and violets; second layer is a handsome young man in a striped sailor suit holding a bouquet, he stands inside a larte tree trellis with large pink roses, the third layer is a large heart frame of lavendar roses - in the center is a lavendar and white castle and green trees. Measures 7 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches, near fine condition, no holes, tears, or stains, neatly signed on back and marked Printed in Germany. One small crease on the bottom leaf standing out on the left side, does not detract; light age toning on back side. The artwork on this one is just wonderful, all the delicate cutouts and the colors are so bright. A beautiful addition to your collection or a wonderful vintage valentine gift!
