A wonderful little piece of avertising kitch from the 1950's-1960's. This is a vanity or dresser top box to hold your cottonball, orange sticks, emory boards, etc. from Cutex! It is made of a dark colored plastic. It does not test for bakelite with semi-chrome. It has a couple of minor flaws, but still looks great on that vanity! When looking at the pics of the box open, you can see that each of the corners has a chip. The left is bigger than the right one. But, when closed it is not very noticable and does not detract from overall appearance. There is an impressed design of a woman's hand holding a rose with the word Cutex beneath it on the top. There are some minor surface scratches. It measures approx. 6 1/2"X4 1/4".
