Victorian photo album with a lovely celluloid front cover depicting a courting couple of a man in blue and a lady in a pink gown. The side and back cover are made of velvet with a purple pansy pattern on it. There is an ornate brass clasp closing it. There are 12 heavy card pages that can hold 24 single photographs of 5.5" x 3.75" photos. The first one holds a photograph of a man and woman of that period. The last two pages hold four 3.5" x 2" photos. There are slots underneath each area that allow insertion of the photos. Several have small tears where the photos were removed. The album measures 10.5" x 8" x 2, and dates from around 1900 or shortly after. Considering this album is over 100 years old, it is in extremely good condition!
