Victorian Necklace / antique fob chain / Thimble holder / Citrine glass / antique tassel / chatelaine necklace / rose gold filled

This is an antique gilt hand wrought filigree ball necklace that I added  an antique rose gold filled raised relief partial thimble holder that is a now a pendant with a citrine glass faceted crystal top. The antique necklace  measures 32" long and has large 3/4" filigree balls. The pendant measures 3 1/2" long and has its original antique tassel ( it was reattached). The light shines up thru the bottom of the  old thimble holder thru this beautiful faceted ball and really shows off the gold color. To think that this antique thimble holder was once part of a young woman's chatelaine and used to sew beautiful clothes  is just so neat! The antique rose gold filled thimble bottom is marked Austria. This assemblage necklace holds many pieces of history all together to be cherished and adored in today's time.
