Victorian Trade Card Browns Iron Bitters 1800's. This is a nice color Victorian Trade Card . It shows this pretty lady in a framed picture and the glass in the picture is broken. Lovely colors in Browns and reds. At the top of the picture it reads, Brown's Iron Bitters and at the bottom it reads, The Best Tonic. there is a little sign inside the frame that reads, cures' malaria, dyspepsia and female infirmities. A most unusual picture. On the back in small type is information on Malaria. At the bottom on the back it reads, Brown Chemical Co., Baltimore, Md. See that all Iron Bitters are made by Brown Chemical Co and have crossed red lines and trade-mark on wrapper. This came from a scrap book dated 1880. Some discoloration on the back but I consider mint condition. Measures 3"" wide by 4"" tall.
