Vintage 1940's Style Palter de Liso, Carla Last Style black suede Shoes
Vintage 1940's style Palter de Liso, Carla Last (who was one of their shoe models) style 56576, black suede shoes, They have double ankle straps, 4" high heels, open toes and a cutout heart shaped area above with dotted edging. Size 5-1/2. Signed in the heels and in the arches. Minimal wear to the bottom soles, heel caps are good. Very lightly worn and in very good vintage condititon. Quality made and retailed originally for hundreds of dollars a pair.
Palter Deliso was formed in 1927 by Daniel Palter and James DeLiso. They received a Neiman Marcus award in 1938 for introducing the open-toe sling-back pump. It was revived in 2013 in Los Angeles by Lauren Bruksch and Taz Saunders, who put a modern spin on a rich heritage label.
