It is filled with recipe dividers (Beverages, Biscuits - Breads, Cakes, Cake Fillings & Frostings, Cereals, Fritters, etc.). Most of the recipes are hand-written or typed, and encased in plastic sleeves. They include Jack O Lantern Chocolate Cake, Molasses Cookies, Butterscotch Pie, Pineapple Pie, Frozen Banana Salad, and Harvard Quartered Beets. The majority of recipes are desserts. There are also some recipe cards from the Michigan Consolidated Gas Company: "Smart Women Cook With Gas - Sept. - Oct. 1968." The recipe box is in very good condition, with light surface wear.
