Vintage Art Deco Airguide Barometer Weather Station

Vintage mid-century, Art Deco Airguide weather station, with a barometer, thermometer, and humidity meter. This very cool mid-century set of instruments is encased in very dark brown or black plastic (perhaps bakelite), has a vented metal back, and sits upon a curved gold plastic, felt-bottomed base. The instrumentation is on a tan and white striped background. The back can be removed and the barometer is adjustable to be accurate for the altitude. The piece measures approximately 4 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. It was manufactured in the USA by the Airguide Instrument Company of Chicago. The weather station is in very good condition. It appears to work well. There is a small chip in the lower lefthand back corner of the case which is not visible from the front; it shows minimal to light surface wear with a handful of very small scuffs. It would benefit from being taken apart and cleaning the surfaces. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $9.00.
