1920s cigarette case made by Einstein Baer Manufacturing Co. in silver tone metal
The top is made up of wallpaper striping in alternating wave and straight patterns. It has an ornate center cartouche with the intitals PL engraved. 
This case has graceful sloping sides, top and bottom, and mitred corners. All covered in raised repousse with flowers and leaves. The same pattern is repeated aroung the edges of the top and bottom flat panels. Bottom is plain, featuring only the border.

The inside is plain with the exception of the backside of the repousse. The spring loaded bar is a stylized arrow marked "E B M Co. MADE IN USA". 
It measures 3 5/8 inches across by 2 7/8 inches tall by 3/8 inch thick. The cigarette compartment measures 2 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches wide. It will accommodate cigarettes no longer than 2 5/8 inches, hand rolled or unfiltered as was the way back in the day.

Interior has almost a mirror finish and is very clean. Exterior shows some scuffs and small stains, including a bit of red that worked its way into the repousse on the back. No dents, cracks or deep scratches.
