Vintage numbered and signed Bennington Potters Blue Agate spongeware / spatterware tall trigger mug, in cobalt on tan. Impressed in blue on the the bottom is "bennington potters, bennington, vermont, 1340", and what looks like "dg", the initials of David Gil (1922 - 2002), the creator of Bennington Potters and award-winning artist. This distintive and beautifully-designed mug measures approximately 4 inches high. It is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and minimal surface wear.
