Vintage BLUE goldstone ring Arts and crafts ring

 

This vintage BLUE goldstone ring has tiny little sparkles like stars in the night sky . THe stone is a deep midnight blue so you can see the sparkles in certain lights. THe ring is set in solid brass and is a size 10. The setting measures 7/8" long. There is a tiny flea bite at the end of the stone ( see photo). Very primitive and one of a kind.   Goldstone also exists in other color variants pther than copper  based on other elements. Cobalt or manganese can be substituted for copper; the resulting crystals have a more silvery appearance and are suspended in a strongly colored matrix of the corresponding ionic color, resulting in blue goldstone or purple goldstone respectively.   Blue goldstone is not very common so this ring is quite a rarity.   Ask about our ten percent off special, it could save you a lot of money.   VintageSparkles offers Layaway on all our  pieces regardless of which site it comes from.All layaway payments will need to be in the form of a check or money order only.  Please remember that vintage & antique items are not mint, nor are they perfect but they sure are full of old history and charm.
