Vintage Brass Ashtray Portable with Receptacle Trench Art?
Unavailable
Vintage Brass Ashtray Portable with Receptacle Can . Or brass container with ashtray lid. This is an interesting piece that appears to be hand wrought. Could even from WWI or WWII trench art crafted from artillery shell. When put together it has a dumbbell shape and as you can see the top is an ashtray that can be lifted off to dump the butts and ashes. The lid basically rests on top of the can. There are dings or hammer marks on the bottom and along the side just a hair above the base. It appears to be very old, and plain but functional. It is about 3.75" tall.
