Vintage Byzantine Garnet slide festoon necklace woven silver chain collar

Vintage Byzantine Garnet festoon slide necklace woven silver chain collar. Hand cut primitive garnets are set into hand hammered drops on this vintage silver necklace. The pendants slide back and forth on a double chain that is intricately woven. The patina on this is gorgeous and has turned to a blackened gunmetal color. The necklace measures 18" long and is heavy and well made. I have not cleaned it so as to preserve all the patina. I will leave that up to you . It is heavy and really well made and has quite the good Karma feeling about it. The fish hook clasp is solid and firm. SIlver content is unknown.
