Vintage glam is back and this huge faux cab pearl collar necklace probably would have been worn over a cashmere sweater or a fancy evening dress. From the 40's this silk backed collar has hand sewn faux pearl beads that have pearl cabs between them. It can be worn close to the throat or dropped down a little longer for a different effect. THe largest pearl cab is as big as a half dollar so you can imagine the drama this necklace creates. THe inside neck measurement of the pearl part is 14 1\/2" with an extender that was later added that measures an additional 6". The width of this neat vintage piece is 1 1\/2".Would be a perfect necklace for that vintage wedding dress.
