Vintage Globe on Stand Retailed by Thomasville

Our vintage globe on stand in the 18th century style dates from the 1990s and is believed to come from the Hemingway Collection at Thomasville.  47.5 inches tall and 22 inches in diameter.  Its's wooden stand features finely sculpted designs and the globe is charming and well-painted.  Overall condition is good.  There are nicks and scratches to the stand, and signs of excess glue at the edges of the painted metal insert that decorates the top of the wooden circular support.  There are no blemishes to the globe itself.
