Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Indian Head Pipe

Vintage hand-carved and painted wooden Indian head pipe, with bent twig pipe stem and supports. The origin of this interesting pipe is unknown; it looks to be North or Central American. It was purchased in an antique shop over 20 years ago by collectors of Native American pieces. It appears to be a fully functional pipe although it has never been used. The twig pipe stem removes for cleaning. Two twig supports allow the pipe to be placed down in an upright position. It appears to be in very good condition, with minimal wear.
