Vintage Italian purse stripes hard case pocketbook Long metal chain Made in italy

This vintage unusual color marbelized looking beige and brown stripe hard case purse has a thickly heavy golden metal chain that measures 36" long so you can wear it over your shoulder.  It is roomy enough for essentials. Perfect for the upcoming summer season.  The snap clasp is tight and the hinges work great . Probably 1970's.  Has a tag inside that says Made in Italy. It measrues 7 3/4" x 4 1/2" wide and is 1 3/4" deep.  I am not a purse aficionado so please ask all the questions you like, because this because it is a beautiful accessory that you don't see any more and it is as found.
