Vintage McCoy planter/saucer with raised bamboo design in natural browns, circa 1970's. This handsome planter features a drainage hole that allows excess water to drain into the attached saucer. On the bottom of the saucer are impressed 0373, MCCOY, USA, and the Lancaster Colony Corporation trademark LCC. Lancaster Colony owned the McCoy Pottery division 1974 - 1985. The piece measures approximately 4.75 inches high, 5.75 inches in diameter, and weighs nearly 2 pounds. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some glaze crazing visible on the interior, and some factory imperfections. Overall, the glaze is glossy and the colors are intense and earthy.
