Handsome vintage / antique milk glass table lamp, with brass base and finial, and handpainted green leaf design. This vintage lamp features a milk glass vase or jar shape on top of a round brass base. There is gold trim around the shoulder and what appear to be green ivy leaves painted on the front. The lamp has a pullchain with a bell-shaped end and a 5.5 foot cord with an Art Deco design Bakelite plug. The lamp measures approximately 24 inches high, including the finial, and 5 inches in diameter; the glass base contains what appears to be sand for weight and stability, and weighs about 4.5 pounds. The lamp is in good to very good condition, intact and functional, with moderate wear to the brass, light wear to the glass, and a small, shallow chip at the top front which is hard to find.
