Vintage Napcoware pottery antique car planter, in chocolate brown "woodgrain" finish. This convertible top car planter is quite detailed, featuring quilted seats, spoke wheels, and prominent steering wheel. It is from the estate of R.E. Olds Anderson, eldest grandson of R.E. Olds, founder of Oldsmobile. The car measures approximately 3.75 inches high, 5.25 inches wide, and 3.25 inches deep. There is a gold and pink foil label on the bottom, stating NAPCOWARE, MADE IN JAPAN. The planter is also numbered on the bottom although it is difficult to read the print. This piece is in good to very good condition, with no cracks and a handful of tiny areas where the glaze has flaked off. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
