Vintage Red Wing Pottery figural rooster covered dish in beautiful soft green glaze. This hard to find piece measures approximately 6.25 inches high, 7.75 inches wide, and 4.25 inches deep; it weighs more than 1.5 pounds. It has a wonderful shape and smooth curves. The bottom is impressed with 250 RED-WING USA. The piece is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, light surface wear, and very light exterior crazing; there is a small whitish spot on the left side of the ruff which is unglazed and can be seen in the second photograph.
