Vintage / antique Robinson Ransbottom Pottery (RRP) "Hey Diddle Diddle" cookie jar, depicting the man in the moon, the cow that jumped over the moon, the cat and the fiddle, and the dish that ran away with the spoon. This very charming and prized cookie jar was manufactured by the RRP Company of Roseville, Ohio. It is in a soft yellow, with pastel hues of rose and green, a brown fiddle, and black accents. This piece measures approximately 9.75 inches high, 7.75 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and weighs more than 4 pounds. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. It has crazing, particularly in the interior and on the bottom, and some darkening of the glaze, mostly on the back side. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition.
