Wow, this necklace looks like it came right out of a jewelry book with all the work that is involved in its composition. The huge pendant is 2 3/4 long ( see photo next to a dime) and has a raised relief celluloid cameo with snakes that protect her on either side. The two large deco like flowers that hold the pendant are in raised relief and just who off this magnificent cameo. The chain is hand wrought and not machine manufactured. The clasp is a floral one that fits in so well it is hard to see when you look at the whole necklace. The length around the neck is 17 1/2. This is in very good condition with the most beautiful warm gilt patina!
