Visking Co Tender Family Cartoon Ad 1949 This is a July 1949 advertisement. It is a nice color cartoon form advertisement from the Visking Corporation of Chicago makers of Frankfurters and wieners. Ad shows grandpa coming home from hunting and he has shot a Squawliggus bird. Man of the house is not happy. says can not cook the bird because it is to tough. Family squabble, police involved. Solved by serving frankfurters and wieners that are skinless. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches tall.
