Volkswagen 5000 Years in Making Ad 1969 This is a July 18, 1969 advertisement. It is a most unique black and white ad from Volkswagen with nice graphics from an early magazine. The VW ads always have humor. This one begins with the first picture which reads, Circa 3000 BC man invented the sedan. And from the start its biggest problem was luggage space. The amount of cubic feet it could carry depended on the amount of feet carrying. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/8"" wide by 1`3 3/4"" tall.
