Western Electric Tanker Out of Control Ad 1945 This is a June 11, 1945 advertisement It is a nice color ad from Western Electric - in peace a source of supply for the Bell system and in war an arsenal of communications equipment. It has a nice picture by Anton Otto Fischer. Shows a man in a boat and a tanker in the back ground and it reads, Tanker out of control on port bow, the lookout telephones to the officer on the bridge. Nice picture !! In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
