Up for sale is an interesting 19th century original oil painting on canvas by William Dalglish (United Kingdom, 1860 - 1909) beautifully captures a tranquil coastal landscape with a group of nomads resting near their tents. The dark wooden frame adds to the painting’s rustic and historical character. William Dalglish (1860–1909) was a Scottish artist born in Glasgow. After completing his schooling, he pursued drawing under A. D. Robertson at the Dundas Street life class and furthered his studies under Robert Greenlees at the Glasgow School of Art. Dalglish resided at 26 Renfield Street in Glasgow. His works often depicted serene landscapes and coastal scenes, capturing the natural beauty of Scotland.
