This is a nice antique exersize dumbbell that weighes .5 pounds on the scale.  It's about 8" long and 2.5" diameter and has a nice old patina on it.  One saw cut type mark on the smaller handle section, but still very strong and useable.  Very nicely turned, some small dings and scratches, very solid hardwood.
