Zippo Lighter To Indianapolis Race 1938 Ad 1963 This is a April 26, 1963 advertisement.It is a nice black and white ad from Zippo Manufacturing Company of Bradford, Pa. Hand is holding a lit Zippo that reads Gene on the side. It reads, E C (Gene) Trimpe and his Zippo were at Indianapolis when Floyd Roberts won the 500 mile classic in 4 hours 16 minutes in 1938. It still works today> In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 wide by 14 tall.
