Antique CHINESE DRAGON GLASS Sash PIN

What an exotic old brooch this is with the raised dragons and the center open back cobalt glass center stone! I have collected sash pins for years and this is one of the most detailed and extraordinary ones I have ever seen. This one is quite large ( 2 1/2” x 1 3/4”) and is heavy and really well made. I would say this dates prior to the 1900’s and would be of Asian decent. The large faceted stone is so rich with cobalt that takes your breath away. Lots of lovely deep patina finish off this remarkable brooch! This can be worn on a sweater or a jacket or even a hat and bring compliments and wonder as to where you got such a fine piece!Some wear on the stone.
