A collection of TWO antique statues of the illusive Penan Dayak tribe in Borneo. Each were carved by our local artist celebrity Tusau in the early 1930s.
Two Penan warriors, note their elongated earlobe wearing loincloth, Parang / Bush Sword, Bakul Tambok / Jungle Backpack & paddle. Each statue is carved from a single Billion/Ironwood piece, the hardest wood in the world and able to withstand even termites! Please note one of the earlobe is missing a long time ago, sold as shown.
