Excellent Doll of Kabuki Theatre actor as White Lion or Kagami Jisha character with white wig and fine decorated stage costume and traditional make up
 
   The face and hands are of  composition material gofun (crushed oyster shell powder).    The elaborate costume is silk brocade over wood.   It measures 11" x 9".  The condition is good but the is surface wear on the eyes, above the eyes and paint loss on the lip.  The hair is  all there but it is a mess.
