Early American Pattern Glass whimsey vase, from the 1800's. Amethyst glass with a plain area around the top, 8 rows of hobnails below. Three-part mold. Ground and polished lip at a slight slant. Measures 3.25"h. Good condition with only 1 sheared hobnail that I could find, as shown in photo. Very similar to Hobb's Hobnail whimsey vase, except it has a plain area at the neck.
