A porcelain tile from a rare neo-medieval aesthetic era series of medieval musicians by W.T. Copeland & Sons. The tile is underglaze blue print on a white slip ground and depicts a musician flanked by trees in bloom playing chromatic panpipes. Tile is in good-very good condition with a shallow upper edge chip at left, a lower left corner chip; hairline at left 1/3 up from bottom. Surface is in good shape with only light wear.
