Faith Saint Teresa Pocketwatch Locket rosary necklace

This vintage Saint Teresa medal is from the 20's and she watches over this vintage aurora borealis Rosary with care. She was a prominent Spanish mystic, Roman Catholic saint, Carmelite nun, writer of the Counter Reformation, and theologian of contemplative life through mental prayer.Teresa’s whole life was one of relationships. She knew first hand what good and bad relations can do to people, and she longed and worked earnestly for the Best Friendship – which she found in Jesus. “In this house all must be friends…” “Prayer is an encounter (a friendly conversation) with the one you know loves you.”
The gunmetal locket has raised relief birds which surround her on the front as well as on the back. It is a large locket with a Cross on the inside. It has room for one photo or you can cover the cross with another if you like. The vintage faceted aurora borealis rosary was not complete so we resurrected it to make this wonderful necklace of faith. The crucifix at the bottom was original to the rosary. The necklace part of the rosary measures 27" long with an additional 6" drop for the cross and the locket. The locket measures 2 1/4" long ( with bale) and is 1/2" thick. What a wonderful way to keep your faith and loved ones close to you.
