Sacred heart necklace Paste Ex voto Locket rosary bookchain hidden reliquary compartment

This wonderful paste locket or rosary case holds an old olive bead rosary. The huge locket hangs from an antique bookchain with gorgeous engravings. This necklace is not for the shy because the rosary case or locket is large and dramatic. Expect a lot of attention when you wear this beauty. It is loaded with paste stones and done in layers. The front is mother of pearl with the a large M for ave maria set in paste stones. The large brass top of this large pendant is hand set with paste rhinestones. THe total length of the locket is 5 3/4" and it is 2 3/4" wide. the wide bookchain is 16" long and 1/2" wide. It is a little over 1/2" wide and is in Russian gold plate. The rosary inside is not in great shape but you can see it was hand carved. You can use this to hold something precious to your heart because the compartment is quite large. It is the most amazing piece of faith I have ever seen.
