Large plate, or charger, with portrait of man resembling Rembrandt, hand-painted in blue and brown tones with gold trim. Marked "Flambeau/LDBC" of Limoges, France. Dates from 1890-1914.. Signed "Dubois" on front of plate, one of the best-known artists of the period. Measures 12 3/8"d. Some light wear to gold trim, but no chips or cracks. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
