Franciscan "Capistrano" art ware bowl, or planter, made by Gladding-McBean of California. Mark dates from 1939-47. Deep purple shiny glaze inside, light blue outside. Measures 12"l x 7"w x 1.75"h. Has one small fleabite at rim, and some surface scratches; no other chips or cracks. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
