Franklin Automobile Co Fastest Selling Ad 1915 This is a April 21, 1915 advertisement. It is a nice black and wwhite ad from The Frankling Automobile Company of Syracuse, New York. This is a full page of written material about this car. There is a picture of a railroad train. Cars parked by the train. Train is stopped in street. People walking on the sidewalk. Buildings on either side of the tracks. Not like our railroad yards of today, these tracks run right down the middle of the street. It reads, The biggest shipment of Fine Motor Cars ever made. A train load. Twenty two freight cars of Franklin Automobiles leaving Syracuse, NY for the Pacific Northwest. They have interesting theories about the constructin of cars. They say in 1914 the people of New England bout 30,000,000 worth of cars but spend 15,000,000 for new tires alone. In two years tire expense equals the cost of their cars. They say poor tire service is the fault of the car maker, not of the tire maker. So their cars are built to correct this. Interesting ideas. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad, This magazine tear sheet measures 10 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
