Goodyear Aircraft Ad 1944 This is a June 24, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Goodyear Tire and Rubber of Akron. Picture is by Dean Cornwell. Ad is most unusual. It shows the front half of a dirigible. A man holding a scroll. Another man holding the world globe in his hand, and he appears to be measuring it with an instrument. Third man is heavily in thought. All wearing clothing from a much earlier century. No words in this ad other than Goodyear Aircraft. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
