White ironstone ceramic lid with molded rope-design handle on top. Made by Haviland & Co., circa 1865-75. Measures 9.25" overall diameter, 3"h, with an inner rim (fitter) measuring 7.75"d. Believe it belonged to a round covered vegetable dish. No marks. Has two small chips, sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
