Independence Felicity Tea Pot is white with a scalloped border and a stencil type design showing two birds and flowers in mustard yellow and shades of brown. It has the castleton shape that widens towards the middle where the embossed rib design comes in and it thins out again. Backstamp in green shows a monument and stars and reads Independence Ironstone by Castleton China inc.( a division of Shenango). Made in Japan. Pot is 9"" high and 9 5\8"" wide, includes lid,handle and spout. Excellent condition, has crazing on lid and bottom.
